My name is Yuxiao (ι¨ζ½) Luo (η½), I usually go by Rain. I am an Assistant Professor in the Quinlan School of Business, Loyola University Chicago. My research interests include AI agent behaviors, privacy/ethical issues in GenAI, cybersecurity, digital nudging, and CSR/sustainability. I teach undergraduate courses, such as Advanced Data Analytics and AI, Intro to Buisness Information Systems. I serve on the Executive Board for New England Chapter of Association for Information Systems (NEAIS).

I’m currently doing research in AI agent behaviors, privacy/ethical issues in GenAI and business, cybersecurity, digital nudging, and CSR/sustainability. I employ both quantitative (e.g., causal inference, SEM, PLS) and AI/ML methods as well as experimental approach in my studies.
My work has been published in research journals such as Decision Support Systems, Pacific-Basin Finance Journal.
My research findings have been presented in major academic conferences and organizations such as INFORMS, AMCIS, and AoM.
I’m serving as reviewers for peer-reviewed IS journals and conferences, such as Communications of the Association for Information Systems, Information Systems Journal, Information Systems Frontiers, Decision Support Systems, Information & Management, AIS Transactions on Human-Computer Interaction, ICIS, HICSS, DSI, etc.
